In 1940, Helen Keller wrote,
 

“Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.”

 
Life is a daring adventure, or ought to be. And Helen Keller ought to know. We don’t have to be Indiana Jones. But as Thoreau wrote, “We should come home from far, from adventures, and perils, and discoveries every day, with new experience and character.”
